Big announcement last Friday: Suncor restarted its Firebag 3 project for completion after cancelling it last December. So there is perspective in the near future. Rumour has it Firebag 4, the project I worked on, will be back online too pretty soon. Probably a large quantity of the bids we have out on commercial projects also will be awarded, meaning we are gonna be very very busy again. You see it here in Edmonton too, houses are still being build. Not as fast, but still the pace is considerable. There is confidence and the smart quys are preparing for another, hopefully more controlled, boom. We were smart in buying a house too.
